Pick one or more random list items instantly with replacement or unique sampling.
The list is parsed and sampled locally. Nothing is stored or sent.
List entries
With or without replacement
Without replacement, each entry can be selected only once per draw. With replacement, an entry can be chosen repeatedly because it returns to the pool after every pick. Both modes use crypto.getRandomValues().
Duplicates
Every non-empty line is an entry. If the same label appears three times, it has three chances, and without replacement it can occupy up to three result slots.
Frequently asked questions
Can I ask for more items than exist?
Not in without-replacement mode. The tool validates the count before selecting. With replacement, larger counts are allowed.
Does the order matter?
Results appear in selection order. The source textarea is not reordered unless you remove selected entries.
Is the result saved?
No. It stays in the page for the current session and is never uploaded.
