Removes the Document Info dictionary and straightforward XMP metadata. Metadata inside embedded files, annotations, or page content may remain. This is not a forensic scrubber.
What gets removed
The tool rewrites the PDF locally, clears the Document Info dictionary, and removes the catalog XMP metadata stream. Page content, bookmarks, and form fields are left in place.
Encrypted PDFs are rejected. Always open the downloaded file and check the metadata viewer before publishing it.
